Reflection

The chorus of the Art of Noise’ 90’s hit would sing (shout?): LEGS!! But these are not the 90’s and this is not loud. A chorus of sorts, perhaps?

It’s the gentle reflection here that serenades the presence of human entities. The water, ever moving, cradling the image of those two body parts, that display a quality (standing upright) that has long be associated with human development and superiority. It seems however to depict the water’s ambivalence to the human presence. The river acting as a mirror, just like that. Effortless. Collaborating with the sun. Detached. These entities will leave. The sun will set. Image by David Martens.
