Open studio's BAC Art Lab

March 29 2023 – 13:00
BAC Art Lab, Vital Decosterstraat 102, 3000 Leuven

Breg Horemans has been a resident at BAC Arts Lab sinds January 2023. He’s working on a performative drawing practice as part of his PhD research on Regenerative Spatial Dramaturgies. The presentation at BAC entails the mapping of ‘gestures for interdependence’, a series of traces from situated practices in which Horemans is engaging (through the work he’s doing with TAAT arts collective http://www.taat.live). Through the process of drawing, a layered relationship between extraction and reciprocity is revealed. Breg’s PhD is supervised by Rolf Hughes and Virginia Tassinari, and part of the research groups RAAD and Epistemic Practices.
